We are local 450 of the American Federation of Musicians.   As with all unions we exist to benefit our membership but beyond this we believe strongly that our task is to educate the public on the benefits to the community of unions such as ours and to participate in our community.  We are active members of the Iowa City Federation of Labor and hold an annual scholarship benefit event.
